Haute Couture Dining
Butterfly Burger is forming a new heart in the Village of Oak Creek, Butterfly Burger is a celebration of Chef Lisa Dahl’s passion for the dining experience. The result is something unique in Sedona, A Couture Burger Lounge. While her contemporaries are fashioning fast-casual burger diners, Butterfly Burger is reveling in low-lite glamour and an unabashed cocktail lounge look and feel.
Dahl set out to create a warm and welcoming destination, delivering elegance and excellence. The subtle details of the design will not be lost on discerning guests. The blacked-out entrance doors are flanked by topiaries and boxwood hedges. Black walls covered in rough-hewn planks of mushroom wood set the tone. The dark sultry lighting builds the mood and complements the amber glow from the bar’s rose-gold mirrors. Dark cobblestone is underfoot and it wraps the bronze butterfly inlaid at the entrance. Fine jazz bathes guests as the hum of quiet conversations ignite the lounge-style experience.
Chef Dahl’s three Burger Battle Championship burgers lead the mouth-watering menu. Lisa’s main Butterfly Delights include ten international-inspired burgers, plus a Wagyu Beef Hot Dog. With names like The Waco Kid, Oui Oui Monsieur and the Mi Quiero Vaquero your taste buds will be transported from the American southwest to France, Spain even Greece with the Gyro Burger made from a proprietary spice blend of all-natural Colorado lamb.
Vegans, vegetarians and pescetarians can revel with their carnivorous friends. Three “Where’s the Beef?” burgers are such knockouts that Dahl may just convert some meat lovers! Surf’s up with the Mowee Wowee - House made spices and rubbed on Mahi Mahi filet.
“We wouldn’t be a Burger place for all if we just made burgers for carnivores.” “I crave our Veggie Burgers. When my father Herb, one of the biggest meat lovers on the planet first tried my Primo Portobello with caramelized onions and chipotle aioli on grilled ciabatta and said, that just might be the best burger I have ever had! Quite honestly…I nearly fainted! But, at the same time, I knew I had something very special.” - Lisa Dahl
